Beginning his pest control career back in 1975, Dr. Terry Whitworth worked as a manager and entomologist before deciding to start his own company in 1981. He aimed to provide clients with the best customer service in Tacoma, WA, as well as his employees the best benefits, transparency, and trust in the industry. Eventually, in the year 2000, Whitworth Pest Solutions moved into a new building in Puyallup, WA, in which every feature was designed with pest control in mind.

Since then, the company has expanded beyond the Tacoma and Puyallup areas, but Terry’s dedication both to clients and employees has remained embedded in the culture. Whitworth Pest Solutions was founded on the premise that honest, ethical pest control was the only way the business should be run—and that is what Whitworth has continued to practice.
